Who
John
H. Vivadelli, Founder & CEO, AgilQuest Corporation
John has broad-ranging experience in the technology field as both
a market visionary and product developer. He is a well respected,
industry expert in the fields of alternative office environments, real
estate metrics and cost management, and business continuity.
Mr. Vivadelli has presented or lectured to organizations such as the
International Facility Management Association, including its Hong Kong
Chapter, Corenet Global, DoD Executive Management Course, Carnegie
Mellon University’s Advanced Building Systems Consortium, Asia’s
Facility Media conference, the MIT Enterprise Forum, the American
Management Association and many others. He is invited to join CoreNet
Global’s CoRE Curriculum faculty and is a member of its newly formed
Workplace Community.
Mr. Vivadelli is chairman of the Strategy and Planning Metrics Workgroup
of the Open Standards Consortium for Real Estate (OSCRE) where he has
participated in leadership positions since the inception of the
organization. He sat on the Board of Directors for ITAC (International
Telework Advisory and Council) and led its acquisition and transition
into the Telework Advisory Council for WorldatWork, the world`s leading
not-for-profit professional association dedicated to knowledge
leadership in total rewards, compensation, benefits, and work-life. He
has served on the Board of CoreNet Global’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter for
three years and has attended CoreNet Summits for over ten years.
Prior to launching AgilQuest, Mr. Vivadelli served in technical sales
and consulting services roles at IBM. There he was recognized as
President of IBM’s “100% Club”--an accolade given to IBM’s top
salesperson. He was later made a Principal in the IBM Consulting Group
where he was instrumental in the development of IBM’s “FlexiMOVETM”
workplace management system, an application that helps save the company
over $100 million annually in real estate costs.
John Vivadelli earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University
of Colorado. He was commissioned as an officer in the United States
Submarine Service and went on to qualify as Engineering Officer on board
the nuclear submarine USS Silversides. Today, he remains a Commander in
the Naval Reserves. Mr. Vivadelli lives with his wife, Stephany, and
their five children in Richmond, Virginia.
