Part 2 in a 3 Part Series focusing on Social Media.

Exploiting the Value of Social Media

Social media is a hot business topic. How does a company measure the ROI of social media? How are companies successfully using social media to support their brand and market messaging? Is the approach different for business-to-business message management than when selling directly to consumers?

RichTech's Women in Technology Forum will explore the value of social media at its March meeting, focusing on successful social media strategies developed for national, regional, and local brands.

A panel of local experts with deep practical experience will share their social media success stories, talking about:

    • How to develop and deploy corporate messages using social media
    • What a successful business social media strategy looks like
    • Measuring the impact and value of social media conversations
    • How corporate and personal branding differ
    • What a local campaign can do for a national brand and navigating corporate restrictions on local marketing campaigns

    The panel:

    • AnnMarie Grohs, Sales & Marketing Manager, Morton's the Steakhouse, Richmond
    • Kendall Morris, Managing Partner-Emerging Media Practice Group, Fahrenheit Technology + Founder of Social Media Club Education Connection Chapter, Richmond
    • Caroline Platt, Manager at The Hodges Partnership + Board member, Social Media Club Richmond

The panel will be moderated by Casey Quinlan, the Mighty Mouth of Mighty Casey Media + Wellcentrix LLC.

    How:

You and one partner connect your bikes to an energy harnessing device to generate DC current as you pedal continuously for 30 minutes.  Converted energy from your team’s pedaling is used to power portions of the building at Endorphin Fitness Center.  Professional coaches at Endorphin encourage everyone to reach their potential and produce the greatest amount of electricity.  Prizes are awarded to the top 3 cyclists in both the men’s and women’s categories.

    Why:

Educate yourself and others on energy sustainability.  No longer take for granted personal energy consumption and learn about steps you can take to reduce it.

Register today.  It’s as fun and easy as riding your bike!
