Pandemic Planning

In April, our "Good Morning Technology" breakfast will focus on a topic that we all hope to avoid but need to be prepared for… pandemic planning.  We will welcome Jean Linnenbringer, Senior Operations Leader at Genworth Financial as our speaker.  Jean will help us understand the issues and contingencies that need to be considered to protect our customers and employees.  Please plan to join us at The Place in Innsbrook.

Mighty Casey Media offers Richmond’s first BizImprov Workshop

How do you prepare for business conversations where the stakes are high – negotiating a contract with a client that could double your annual revenue, or interviewing for your dream job?

It may seem almost impossible to prepare for those in-the-moment conversations – if you’ve learned improv skills, it’s easy.

If you want to be brilliant off the cuff; to make presentations that are fresh, not canned; to wake up to opportunities to make a difference in your business right now – come to Mighty Casey Media’s BizImprov Workshop on April 24, 2007 at The Place at Innsbrook, 4036-C Cox Rd., Glen Allen, starting at 7:30am and running until 12:00pm.  Anyone who attends BizImprov will not only take away some powerful skills, they’ll also get an improv exercise workbook that will help them share their new skills with their teams.

Led by Casey Quinlan of Mighty Casey Media, a communication consultant, speaker, and broadcaster with an extensive background in theater and stand-up comedy, BizImprov will use a fast-paced series of exercises to spark creativity and demonstrate the power of improvisation in fostering team trust, managing challenges, and embracing change.  The skills developed in the workshop will become part of each attendee’s communication tool-kit, making them creative change agents in business, and in life.

GRTC members qualify for a deep discount – register here.  See you at BizImprov!
