Gregory H. Wingfield, one of the nation's top economic development professionals, is president of the Greater Richmond Partnership, Inc. Since 1994,he has played a key role in assisting over 274 new companies to Greater Richmond. These firms have invested over $6 billion dollars. Under his leadership, the Greater Richmond Partnership Inc. has won accolades for the past several years as one of North America's top economic development organizations.

He was president of Forward Hampton Roads from 1987 to 1994, and previously was a marketing manager with the Virginia Department of Economic Development. In September 1998 he was elected to a one-year term as president of the Virginia Economic Developers Association.
