PRACTICE DESCRIPTION
Representation of emerging growth companies, particularly technology and
biotech companies, as securities and general counsel. Lead attorney in
numerous private and public debt and equity financings, joint ventures,
mergers and acquisitions, and other major domestic and international
transactions. Mr. LeClair was awarded an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of
the Year Award in 1997 and the Leadership award by the Greater Richmond
Technology Council in 1999. He is Chairman and founder of LeClair Ryan,
Virginia's fifth largest law firm, which has been recognized as one of
the fastest growing companies in Virginia on four occassions and in
Richmond on 8 occassions.
