Tom is a graduate of the University of Virginia and has over 15 years of Sales and Marketing experience. After 5 years with Procter and Gamble, Tom held various sales and sales management positions with System Industries (DEC-compatible storage), Parametric Technology (CAD software), and Oracle (Databases and Applications).

Tom joined Cisco Systems in 1995, built the southern Virginia business from $8 to $80 million and was the Operations Director responsible for Cisco's Commercial business in VA, NC, SC, and GA. In late 2001, Tom joined SyCom Technologies as VP of Sales, and became a Principal in January of 2002.

After leading SyCom through a period of geographic expansion, Tom became President and CEO in January of 2007
