The Chief Information Officer Forum is one of RichTech's longest running peer-to-peer forums. Originally separated into two groups (Large and Mid Size Companies), the CIO Forum now operates as a single entity, connecting the area's CIOs with diverse backgrounds, career paths and interests. Having a broad-cross section of business allows the CIO Forum participants to compare best practices, ideas and solutions from different perspectives.
This group is dedicated to leadership and has on many occasions developed programs and initiatives for the greater technology community. During the early stages of the recession, when Richmond’s technology community was hit hard with closing businesses, the CIO Forum put together a Jobs Fair for the hundreds of out-of-work technologists in Greater Richmond.
As leaders in the business community and influencers on Richmond’s technology identity, the CIO forum is a great place to connect with peers, positively impact the industry, learn different practices, identify growth potential and develop leadership skills.
The CIO Forum is exclusive and complementary to membership. You must be a CIO or the senior-most IT Leader in your organization to participate. For information on becoming a member or to attend a Forum as a prospective member and guest, please contact Robby Demeria at 804.228.4193
